API Documentation

As of version 3.4.0, your SoftSlate Commerce store can support API requests from external systems to both download and update information in the SoftSlate Commerce store. Our list of supported API methods is growing. If you have a specific request for what you'd like to see us develop, please Contact Us. Please follow the below links for everything you need to know to get started. (Note: The new API in version 3.4.0 is similar to, but supersedes, the API from version 3.3.1. The API calls from the earlier version are no longer available as of version 3.4.0.)

  • Set Up and Authentication. How to enable API access via the SoftSlate Commerce Administrator.
  • Reference Documentation. Full documentation of supported methods, and request and response formats.
  • Customizing the API. As with everything else with SoftSlate Commerce, using the source code you can expand or customize the API. This gives you a few pointers for how to do it.
