SoftSlate Commerce 3.3.5 Released

SoftSlate is pleased to announce the release of the latest version of SoftSlate Commerce, version 3.3.5. This release includes integration with Hibernate Envers for audit logging in the database, plus a number of bug fixes and other improvements. Hibernate Envers Integration

The major feature of version 3.3.5 is our integration with Hibernate Envers for audit logging, which allows store administrators to track every change made to certain tables and fields in the database. Compliance, reporting, and troubleshooting are all made easier with this feature. For more details visit:

Other Improvements

This release also includes a couple of new administrative settings:

• Enable/Disable Category Tree Loading: A setting under Look and Feel Settings -> Header, Side Panel and Welcome that allows admins to disable the loading of the category tree. This can improve performance for stores with a large number of categories where the loading time takes a while, and the category tree is maintained some other way such as statically.
• Shipping Cutoff Time: Ability to define a shipping cutoff time for better estimated delivery dates under Shipping Configuration -> Shipping Settings
