SoftSlate Commerce 3.5.1 Released

SoftSlate is pleased to announce the release of the latest version of SoftSlate Commerce, version 3.5.1. This is a maintenance release consisting mainly of bug fixes and small features. For a complete list of changes between 3.5.0 and 3.5.1 visit the Change Log. Among the highlights include:

Tax Improvements

• Ability to upload Avalara's free set of tax rate tables for each ZIP in the US. For full details and instructions, visit: https://www.softslate.com/blog/2019/07/using-avalaras-free-state-zip-tax-rate-downloads.html
• New setting specifying which states charge tax for shipping costs. Under Tax Configuration -> Tax Settings, use the new setting, "States Where Shipping Is Taxable".

Liquibase Integration

• SoftSlate now optionally integrates with the SQL migration management tool Liquibase for custom SQL migrations.
• To enable Liquibase Integration after upgrading, follow the steps in the Release Notes
• This feature is only available with the Enterprise Edition.
